Q. How do I change my NILE password?
In order to change your NILE password, please do the following:
Please be aware that this process will change ALL of your University of Northampton passwords*.
1. Go to: http://www.northampton.ac.uk/user and login using your current username (your staff username or student number) and password. If you cannot login, please scroll to the bottom of this guide where you will find instructions on what to do if you have forgotten your password.
2. Click on 'Change Password'. Enter your current password, then enter and re-enter a new password. Please pay attention to the minimum password requirements listed on the screen. Click on submit to save your new password.
3. Logout of the system and then login into NILE with your new password.
If you continue to experience problems logging into NILE, or into any of the University IT systems, please contact IT Services either in person at the Student Information Desk on the ground floor of the Learning Hub at Waterside Campus, or by calling them on 01604 893333.
*Please note that if you are a PebblePad user, your PebblePad password will remain unchanged by this process.
