What times are the library open?

Library stock and borrowing, like laptops and books, is 24 hours a day, every day of the year. There is lots of study spaces, including silent study on the 4th floor in the Learning Hub. The Learning Hub never closes to students, staff and other library members. You can view the Learning Hub opening hours and the library staffed hours online, and we update it daily.

Evenings, weekends and bank holidays

In the evenings, at weekends and bank holidays, you can enter the Learning Hub from the ramped entry next to the Market Restaurant, and you will need your ID card to enter. All questions during these times can be dealt with by staff on the Student Information Desk on the ground floor, or by Security staff on the Visitor's Centre next to the shop.

You can contact the Security Team from wherever you are on campus at any time, using the SafeZone app.
