We are keen to share our spaces and resources with the local community. You are welcome to visit the library but, as we are in an access controlled building, you will need to apply for a Day Pass from the Visitor Centre (there is a limit per person of five Day Passes a year).
We also offer variations of Membership, free of charge. We encourage you to visit us first and check out our hard copy resources before you apply for membership. As an academic library, our stock is mainly curriculum based and so we do not hold light reading material. Obtain a Day Pass from the Visitor Centre (open 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, located on the ground floor of the Senate building) and then come to the Help Desk on the second floor of the Learning Hub where staff will be able to direct you to areas of interest.
If, after your visit, you would like to borrow items (not including DVDs or items from the School Experience Collection) then simply apply for the membership which suits you best. Membership will take up to one week to process and does not include the ability to reserve books or rooms or to access printers, photocopiers, laptops, PCs, e-resources or the School Experience Collection.
Please note that the Visitors Centre is not open during vacation periods.
