Q. Why does my bookmarked or saved link to NILE not work properly?


The NILE homepage was upgraded on 2 June 2020 (see links below for more information). However, users who have saved or bookmarked links to NILE may find that they are directed to the old version of NILE.

The best way to access NILE is via:

Saved or bookmarked links in any of the following formats will no longer work:

  • nile.northampton.ac.uk/webapps/portal/frameset.jsp
  • nile.northampton.ac.uk/webapps/portal/execute/defaultTab
  • nile.northampton.ac.uk/webapps/portal/execute/tabs/tabAction?tab_tab_group_id=_1_1

If you have created a NILE bookmark in your browser, please make sure that it points to:

  • nile.northampton.ac.uk

If you get the following error message when trying to login to NILE please contact learntech@northampton.ac.uk

Sorry! Your name isn't on the list.

*Please note that only staff working for the University of Northampton can login to the Staff Intranet. Staff working for UK and international partner organisations cannot access the Staff Intranet, so will need to login to NILE at nile.northampton.ac.uk
