How do I change the settings on a new* Turnitin assignment (LTI)

*For Turnitin assignments set up after Feb 2022

Answer

To amend the settings of an existing Turnitin assignment, on NILE Original, which has been set up after Feb 2022, (using the LTI), you need to go into the assignment via Submit your work.

  1. Open the relevant NILE original course.
  2. Go to Submit your work (from the side menu).
  3. Click the name of the assignment to open it.
  4. You will see the assignment inbox. Click the cog icon in the top-right.
  5. You will see the settings are there. 

Please note: Some changes cannot be made after students have submitted.
