The University of Northampton has a dedicated gaming network available for student use. To access this, you will need to register your device. Log in to the IT self-service portal using your student number and password. We have a guide to help you use the portal. Click on the middle icon 'log a request', in the next menu, click on 'Gaming Registration' which is the purple icon on the third line down:

Complete the form with all the details that you have and IT will process your request and will then be in touch.

If you have tried these steps and you are still having trouble, IT Services will be happy to help you. You can visit IT Services on the SID on the ground floor of the Learning Hub: 

  • Mondays to Thursdays 8.30am to 5pm 

  • Fridays 10am to 5pm.

  • Fridays 8am to 9am, and then 10am to 5pm.
