When you are looking for a library resource you should always start by checking NELSON, as this will tell you what we hold and give you up-to-date information about where resources are located.
If the resource you are looking for is listed as ‘Available’ but you are unable to locate it on the shelves there are two possibilities - the resource may currently be in use by someone else within the Learning Hub, or it may be missing temporarily. It’s worth checking to see if there’s an electronic version available but if there isn’t then please speak to a member of staff, or email the details of the item to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will flag any potentially missing resources with our ‘Lost Items Team’, who will perform a thorough search of library spaces to try and locate the resource. They will then update the listing on NELSON to reflect our current holding of stock.
