What is the Financial Assistance Fund?
The Financial Assistance Fund aims to offer financial support to Home / UK / EU Students in order to help them access and remain in higher education. It is designed to assist those who need extra financial support to meet costs which are not already met by statutory (or other) sources of income.
Am I eligible and how do I apply?
Students must be a UK / Home OR EU (who are not entitled to maintenance loan) student and have taken out the the full entitlement of student funding (such as loans, grants or bursaries) from your statutory funding provider (other eligibility criteria apply). If you are submitting an application please ensure that you submit a complete application with all supporting documents / evidence as this will ensure that we can process your application (and pay any subsequent award) quicker.
