The Carers Award is a fund which provides financial assistance to students who are responsible for the care of a relative due to a disability, chronic or terminal illness, mental health problem or similar, and provide care for that person on a full-time basis. The support available is up to a maximum of £2,000.

You can apply by completing the Carers Award Application Form which can be accessed via the Student Hub - Carers Award. If you are submitting an application please ensure that you submit a complete application with all supporting documents and evidence as this will ensure that we can process your application (and pay any subsequent award) quicker.
