Yes, there are a few things you should bring to your DSA Needs Assessment to ensure everything goes smoothly:
- Proof of Your Disability / Condition
- If you haven’t already submitted medical or diagnostic evidence, you may need to bring it with you. This can include:
- a letter from your doctor, specialist, or mental health professional
- a diagnostic report (such as for dyslexia, ADHD, etc.).
- If you haven’t already submitted medical or diagnostic evidence, you may need to bring it with you. This can include:
- Your DSA Eligibility Letter
- If you have received a DSA eligibility letter from your funding body (such as SFE, SAAS, SFW, or SFNI), bring it along as this confirms your eligibility for DSA support.
- Any Specific Needs or Requests
- Think about what support you might need during your studies (like specific software, equipment, or extra support). You can discuss these during your assessment.
- Any Other Relevant Information
- If you have any specific concerns or challenges that might impact your studies, bring them up during the assessment. This will help the assessor understand your needs better.
