An Intermediate Award is an award that students can achieve after partial completion of a programme of study, once they are no longer registered for that award. If students withdraw from study part way through their course or have been terminated from study, they may have passed enough credits to be eligible for an Intermediate Award.

When will my Intermediate Award be processed?

Please visit our Intermediate Awards webpage which provides confirmation of when Intermediate Awards will be processed.

Once the Intermediate Award has been processed, students will receive an email which contains an electronic award letter. This will include the name of the award and the classification (if applicable). Ordinary Degrees and Postgraduate Certificates do not have a classification.

Please note: if you have been terminated from your programme of study, your Intermediate Award will be automatically processed. If you are a withdrawing student, please contact the relevant Student Records Team to request your Intermediate Award.
