If you are a visitor to the University with your own device you can connect to and use the guest wifi if you are needed a network connection.
Steps on how to connect to the guest wifi
1. Click on the wifi icon on your device and look for the UON_Guest network and press connect
2. The browser on your device will open with a sign in window. Press Or register for guest access, which the bottom option
3. On the next window, fill in the details. It is only necessary to fill out the asterisk (*) sections, which is your first name and last name. You do not need to complete email address or phone number. Then please press Register.
4. Your sign in details will be provided, press Sign On. If you forget these details you can always register again. It will give you a username and password, and confirm your first and last name.
5. You will then see the 'Acceptable Use Policy' and you must press Accept to accept the Terms and Conditions. Your browser page will load up the University website.
You are now connected to the University's guest network.
