ASSIST (the Additional Student Support and Inclusion Services Team) can help students to apply for Disabled Students’ Allowances (DSA), which funds support such as a specialist mentoring and software (depending on each student’s individual needs).
We have in-house autism support mentors. ASSIST also run an Autism Taster Day in September each year, you can contact us at email@example.com to find out more details.
We run a dedicated event for new students with Autism and Autism Spectrum Conditions each September. The event provides an opportunity to learn about the support available from ASSIST and other university teams, as well as the Student Union, clubs and societies, and will provide a chance to meet other new students. We send information about the event to applicants who have declared ASC on their UCAS application. For more information email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Student and Academic Services (SAS) is made up of lots of teams, all ready to help you! Have a look at our list of teams, what we do and how to contact us.
