By default, NILE courses are unavailable to students and this is indicated by the 'Closed' status in the top right corner of the NILE site.

When you are ready for your students to access your course, select 'Course Settings':

Then change the course status to 'Open' and close the course settings panel:

You will see that the course status indicator has changed to 'Open', meaning that your students can now access your course.
