Workbooks are submitted automatically when you start working on them. They are live, progressive pieces of work that your academic assessors and practice assessors can see being updated as you work.
After the deadline/due date has passed, you can still access your workbook from your assets and make changes. However, these changes will not be visible to those assessing your work as the submitted version of your workbook is effectively paused.
If you are required to add anything additional to your workbook after the deadline, your tutor will need to set an extension within PebblePad. Once an extension has been applied, any work you did after the deadline will become visible to your tutor.
External Assessors (practice assessors/supervisors)
Once your student has shared their workbook with you, you will have access to it up until the expiry date they have set. If you need longer, the student will simply share again.
As an assessor, you can continue to validate and provide feedback after the deadline has passed. But you will not see any additions made by the student after that time.
Academic Assessors
Like practice assessors, you can assess workbooks after the deadline has passed – just as you can in Turnitin for example.
Unlike external assessors, your connection to a workbook isn’t controlled by your student. You access their workbooks in the submissions area of the workspace.
As explained above, student's additional entries on the workbook, after the submission deadline, won’t be seen by you unless you grant an extension. Students can open and add anything they wish to the workbook, but without the extension you will not see any of it. When the deadline is reached, what you see is a snapshot of the workbook as of that date and time.
