There may be times you wish to view student papers offline. The steps below show how to download all the submitted papers from one assignment in bulk.

Navigate to the Turnitin inbox. Using the Download All menu at the top of the screen, select ‘Original files’.

A zip folder will be downloaded to your computer, usually in the downloads folder. Accept the download if your web browser asks you to confirm.

The download will be a zip file which you can extract on your computer. The files will have the paper ID prefixed in the filename. You can use this identifier to match them up for marking if the assignment is anonymous. If it is not anonymous, the filenames will also contain last name and first name of the submitter.

To help quickly locate papers submitted to anonymous assignments, you can return to the Turnitin inbox (Course Tools > Turnitin Assignments > [name of assignment]) and click on the table heading Paper ID to sort the table by ascending order.
