The gradebook can be filtered in grid view to show just the items of interest at any particular stage of the marking process.

Ensure the grid view is selected, then choose the Filter.

Filters can be applied to show individual students, groups of students, markable items, and categories of markable items.

Once in a filtered view, the URL of that page can be copied and will link back to the chosen filters.
