As of November 2025, there will be a new version of ATLAS for any user who is a manager (lead tutor/tutor) on a workspace. But please don't worry - if you prefer the 'classic' version - this will still be available to you until the end of January 2026 and you can switch between the 2 interfaces until then.

The screenshot below shows you what the new interface looks like.

What’s new? (taken from the release notes)

  • Redesigned navigation: A new collapsible menu structure brings consistency across all areas in ATLAS, making it easier to find what you need with fewer clicks.

  • Breadcrumb navigation: Stay oriented with breadcrumb trails that clearly show your location within the system.

  • Expanded search: In addition to Workspaces, search now includes Regions, Users and Assignments, tailored to your permissions, so you can find what you need faster.

  • Workspace dashboard insights: New filters and visual indicators provide at-a-glance information on member counts, manager roles, submission volumes and workspace status.

  • Quick actions menu: Common workspace actions like edit, duplicate, archive and pin are now just a click away.

  • Pinned workspaces: Prioritise your most-used workspaces by pinning them for quick access.

  • User Account Menu in ATLAS: A new dropdown menu gives users easy access to logout, account settings, feedback, help and username display, all in one place.

Use the "Return to ATLAS classic" link to revert to the old interface if needed. Click on the "Tell us what you think" link to give PebblePad feedback about the new interface.

Full technical details of these changes can be found in the link below which will take you to the PebblePad release notes. **please note, these changes do not affect students or externals**
