Spring Break Information

CAIeRO stands for Creating Aligned Interactive educational Resource Opportunities, and it is the UON process for curriculum design. CAIeRO is a flexible process which aims to support programme and module teams design effective, constructively aligned Active Blended Learning (ABL – our standard approach to teaching) which addresses student academic and employability needs, aligning the outputs from sessions with UON academic regulations and quality approval processes.

How long it takes depends on a range of factors, such as the extent of change or engagement of the programme or module team. Typically facilitated by a member of the Learning Design team, a CAIeRO may be planned as a series of short workshops or full day sessions, delivered face-to-face and/or online, to best meet the needs, availability and preferences of the programme team. We have an explanation of the stages of a CAIeRO available.
