Don’t panic! You can continue using the program and it will be updated by IT centrally.
You can look at the IT Services software page on the Student Hub, scroll down to SPSS, and there will be a date in the entry. This date will be for both students and staff.
Who can I speak to about SPSS?
You can book a one-to-one maths and stats Learning Development tutorial or attend a drop-in session for support with SPSS. The drop-in session timetable for ‘Maths and Stats’ details when sessions supporting SPSS are available.
We have a guide to booking a tutorial, when booking the tutorial choose a maths and stats tutor, as they will be able to advise you regarding SPSS. The Learning Development tutor will not do the analysis for you, but will enable you to undertake the analysis.
We also have a range of online materials available through the Skills Hub. There are also a range of training videos as part of the free access to LinkedIn Learning for UON students and staff. We have a guide available for logging in and using LinkedIn Learning.

- You can report an issue in person on the Student Information Desk on the ground floor of the Learning Hub
- There is also a self-service portal where any kind of issue relating to IT can be logged
- You can check or change your password by following these instructions

You can visit IT Services on the ground floor of the Learning Hub:
Mondays to Thursdays 8.30am to 5pm
Fridays 10am to 5pm.
You need to collect a paper ticket from the kiosk, and wait for your number to be called. You can wait in IT's service area, behind the glass screens to the right of the Student Information Desk.
