Moving a single page left or right along the top, or up and down under the same tab.
- Open your workbook, in edit mode, from your resources.
- Open the page you need to move.
- Click Properties (top-right).
- Make sure 'template' is selected.
- Scroll down to the bottom.
- Click the big blue button 'Reorder current page'.
- Use the after and before drop-down, and select where you'd like to locate your page.
- Click Confirm Move.
Moving a single page from along the top into a drop-down or vice versa.
Please read these instructions carefully, making sure to complete each step.
- Open your workbook, in edit mode, from your resources.
- Open the page you need to move.
- Click Properties (top-right).
- Make sure 'template' is selected.
- Under Reuse Pages, tick 'Make current template visible in your store'.
- Note the name of the page.
- To add the page along the top, click the + button on the right.
To add the page to a drop-down, open the drop-down and click Add a new item. - Choose Existing Resource.
- Find and click on the page to select it.
- The page will appear in the workbook and you will need to follow the set of instructions above these to relocate the page.
- Return the page where it was originally located.
- Click Properties (top-right).
- Make sure 'template' is selected.
- Under Reuse Pages, UNTICK 'Make current template visible in your store'. !Important!
- Now you can remove the page.
- Save
If you have a third level, meaning that as well as tabs along the top (first level) and drop-downs (second level) you then have further pages sprouting out from pages in the drop-down ... then you will need to speak to your learning technologist as this is far more complicated. We do not support the creation of workbooks with these third-level 'nested workbooks' but you may have a workbook like that as part of a consortium with other universities, in which case we will help you as far as we are able.
