Spring Break Information

Library staff will be taking a well deserved break over the bank holiday weekend. We will be back in on Wednesday 3rd April at 9am but library services will still be running, and there are lots of UON teams onsite if you need them.

How can I check what is on my account?

You can check what is on your account and your returns by logging in to NELSON. We have a guide available if you need any help logging in.

When you have logged in, pull down the arrow next to your name or student number and click on ‘My Loans’

'My loans' is second on the account drop-down

Click on the arrow next to loans and you can see your active loans; what is on your account right now or ‘Previous and historic loans’, which are items you have returned.

Two options, top option is active loans. Bottom option is previous and historic loans

Recently returned items

Items can take up to 48 hours to be removed from your account, if you are concerned then please contact us at libraryhelp@northampton.ac.uk and we can double check for you. Send us the details and we will happily look for the item.

After 48 hours

If the item has not been removed after 48 hours then contact us and we will search for the item for you. You can contact us by:

Please tell us your name, University ID, and the title of the resource, and we will get back to you once we have had a look for the item.

Sometimes when returning multiple items it is easy to miss one, so it can be worth checking again at home or where you may have been using the resources just to be sure in the meantime.
