How do I reference and where do I find out about different referencing styles?

Referencing and citation are academic skills that you will need throughout your course and assignments. Referencing is the way that authors and their ideas are acknowledged in your writing. There are lots of different referencing styles and your tutor will discuss with you the one that you will need to use.

• You can book a tutorial to see someone in-person to talk about referencing 
• You book an online tutorial about referencing too
• The Learning Development team have drop-ins every weekday, for quick referencing questions
• Learning Development also have a guide called UNPAC, about avoiding plagiarism.
