Who can I contact in an emergency?

Security staff are always available on campus and can be contacted in an emergency or for First Aid. Their emergency number is 01604 892777.

If it is an emergency which needs an ambulance or police please ring 999 as you would normally, but if you are able please also let the Security team know you have contacted them. They may be able to assist in responding, and can help guide the emergency services to your location.

There is also an on-site Police presence 7 days a week who can offer advice around any crime, safety issues or around protecting vulnerable people.

SafeZone app

The University also have an app you can use to stay safe on and off campus, and it can be used to contact the Security team at the touch of a button. We have information on how to download and use the SafeZone app.
