Although the University of Northampton is an academic library, there are fiction story books to read too. Reading for pleasure is great for your mental health, wellbeing and improves academic skills too.

We have a collection of Young Adult fiction available to borrow, in the School Experience Collection on the 2nd floor of the Learning Hub. We also have a Wellbeing Collection. This is a collection of fiction, non-fiction fact books, as well as movies and websites bought together as a Reading List. There are fiction books in the general collection and also available online through NELSON.

We also have two Book Exchanges, on the ground floor and first floor of the Learning Hub. These are shelves where you can take or leave a book, for free.
