You need your ID card to access University buildings, and are required to wear it and your lanyard whenever you are on campus. Our focus is on self-service, and so when you visit you will need your ID card to borrow resources.

If you have left it at home, University of Northampton students and staff can get a temporary replacement. This will allow you to enter buildings but not to borrow library items, like books or laptops. Students and staff need to go to the Senate building to have a temporary card issued.

If your card has been lost or stolen it will need to be replaced. You can also report it to the Student Information Desk or email them at SID@northampton.ac.uk
