We all need a bit of help from time to time and UON are here to help you. There are also other services in Northampton or nationwide who can also help. There are lots of different types of support available at the University of Northampton and this is a brief list of the main services, through which other types of support can be accessed:

Academic support

Support from the Student Union

  • The Student Union’s Welfare Support and Advice Team offer 'Project Listen'. Sometimes student life is a lot to juggle. Project Listen aims to give you information, advice and guidance to help you feel more you again. The most important thing is you’re not on your own; if you’re feeling pressured or struggling. Talking to friends, Lecturers, or support services as soon as possible is a great first step.

The SU and UON work together so you always have someone who you are happy talking to and we both want to make sure you get the right support, you can’t get it wrong, just start somewhere. Staff at the Students' Union have supported and advised many students. These experiences help us to understand what you are going through.
If you need some help getting some headspace, want to get something off your chest, or just break up the monotony of your week, we are ready to listen. Ready to talk? You can schedule a appointment using the online form, you can email su.advice@northampton.ac.uk or by WhatsApp on 07842 769794
