Yes! There are printers located around all UON buildings. Before you can print for the first time you will have to register your card to the printer card reader and enter your student number and password. You will only have to this the first time, after this you can just touch your card to the reader to release your printing.
The printers work through a site called Printweb. Through Printweb you can send documents to print and then go to the printers to 'release' the document (print it out). We have a longer online guide to printing, that is a good place to start.
Printing is overseen by the University's IT department, they can assist you if you have any questions about printing.
I need some help printing
The Library Help Desk is on the 2nd floor of the Learning Hub and we will be happy to help you during our staffed hours. IT Services are also happy to help you with how printing and other issues with printing and there are lots of ways to contact them:
- You can report an issue in person on the Student Information Desk on the ground floor of the Learning Hub
- There is also a self service portal where any kind of issue relating to IT can be logged
- You can check or change your password by logging into the user portal and / or clicking 'forgot password?'
