Tutorials can be booked to meet with a Learning Development tutor. A tutorial is a booked appointment, during this appointment the Learning Development will provide you free guidance and tuition on skills.
Learning Development can help with:
- Academic Writing

- Reflective writing
- Assignment structure
- Time Management
- Presentation skills
- Exam and revision advice
- Dissertation advice
- Report writing
- Referencing.
Maths and Stats tutors can help with:
- Numeracy
- Algebra
- Calculus
- Geometry
- Statistics
- SPSS
- Data Analysis.
How to book a tutorial

We have a written guide to booking and attending a tutorial, or you can email learningdevelopment@northampton.ac.uk Please include your name, student number and course / module title.
You may be interested in a drop-in session, these are shorter sessions that will provide you with some quick guidance. There is no need to book for a drop-in, these are ideal if you have a question or want some quick advice.
