The University of Northampton work with JISC to provide you with free access to an online survey service to help with your research. When signing up and using JISC surveys you must use your University email address. We have a guide for accessing your email.

This is a service that is open to all students, staff and consultants who have a University of Northampton email address.

You may use online surveys only for legitimate academic research (that has been through ethical approval) or for surveys to aid quality/service improvement purposes. Online Surveys is not to be used for commercial purposes or non-University related activities without written authorisation.

Signing up for JISC Surveys

Everyone who signs up to use JISC Surveys must complete the course ‘Learning GDPR’ on LinkedIn Learning and be ready to send the certificate with the request. We have a help guide available for using LinkedIn Learning. This does not apply to staff who have completed the GDPR training module as part of your core training.

Staff with a group of students

If you have several students who need access to JISC Surveys, please email surveys@northampton.ac.uk with their details, including their University email, of all students who need access.

Students and individual staff members

Please email surveys@northampton.ac.uk from your University email.

What happens when I have signed up?

When you have signed up for JISC Surveys you will receive a welcome email that contains information on accessing the system, the terms and conditions for its use, and some helpful guides to get you started and make the most of the system.

The link to log in that you receive in the email is time sensitive and will expire if you do not access before the deadline. If that happens, you can use the ‘lost invitation’ link.
