The answer is 'Yes'! The University has an important duty to consult with staff on Health and Safety matters.

Draft procedures under development will be made available on our website and contributions will be invited within a specified timeframe.

Health and Safety Procedures and guidance for implementation will be notified to faculty and professional services Health and Safety Committees together with the University Health, Safety and Security Committee.

All new and updated procedures and guidance will be notified to trades union and staff Health and Safety representatives, and presented to Trades Union Liaison Committee for comment.
