A 'hold' means that a library resource has been requested by other library users, and it needs to be returned by the current due date. Please return ‘hold’ resources on time, as overdue resources with a hold request accrue fines at the rate of £1 per day they are overdue.
If you are having problems returning resources that are on hold please feel free to contact us.
If you are away from the University and you would be unable to return the resource in person by the due date, you may wish to consider posting the resource to us. Please allow for transit time when posting resources to us, resources which have been requested by other library users will need to be posted several days before the due date to avoid fines accruing.
