NELSON is the best place to start when you need to find the resources you want to borrow. It will indicate where a resource is located, and if it is available. It will also let you know if we hold electronic versions of books (many of our core books are now available as eBooks). If a copy of the resource you are interested in borrowing says 'available at Waterside' you can find the resource at the shelfmark location.
If a resource is 'checked out at Waterside', there are no available copies to loan. Click on 'Checked out at Waterside' to open the catalogue entry.
This will take you to our library catalogue.
Click the 'request' button, above the entry. Confirm the location (Waterside campus), and you will be entered into a queue for this resource.
When it is ready for collection you will receive an email notification.
In very rare circumstances, personal emergencies (such as bereavement or illness) may prevent borrowers from returning materials on time. If you are concerned that an item you require will not be available in time for you to use it please contact us so we can help you find an alternative.
