Laptops borrowed from the laptop locker are loaned for five-hours to be used on campus and they cannot be renewed. This is because they are not issued with a charger.

You can return the laptop and borrow another if you need a laptop for longer. You will need to return your laptop to the cabinet you borrowed it from. When returning a laptop please ensure that you plug in both the power and data cables before securely closing the door. You may need to wait a minute or two for the laptop to be removed from your account. You can then borrow another laptop from the laptop cabinets.

As your work can be saved to your University OneDrive, you will be able to continue from the new device where you left off. You cannot save onto the laptop - you must save your work to your OneDrive. We have a guide available that explains how to use OneDrive to make your work safe and accessible to you. OneDrive is a free facility for students.

The laptops should not be removed from campus, as they are for short loan use on campus only.
