Someone has reserved an item I have on loan, what should I do?

Resources that have been reserved by other users need to be returned by their due date. These items will be listed as 'Reserved' on your library account and you will not be able to renew it any further. There is a standard charge of £1 per day that a reserved item is overdue. If you think you may not be able to return the item by the due date, please do get in touch with us by:

• email at library.returns@northampton.ac.uk
• our Chat service by clicking on the blue speech bubble at the bottom right of every page
• speaking with a member of library staff at the enquiry desk, located on the second floor of the Learning Hub during staffed hours
• ask us a question using our 'Submit a Question' form
• call us on 01604 89 3089

You can also return your items by post, free of charge.

If you are going to be away from the University and unable to return your resources in person by the due date, we would encourage you to instead consider which eresources would be available to you via NELSON.
