The Skills Hub is a free resource containing videos, guides, interactive tutorials and blog posts covering core academic skills areas at an array of levels. It is for use by students, schools, researchers and the community free of charge. There are sections covering topics such as critical thinking, learning online, revision, and time management. Sections covering writing have advice on putting together bibliographies, literature reviews and reflective writing, at all learning levels.

The Skills Hub was created in-house by the Academic Librarians and Learning Development tutors. In addition, we have selected material from other external open access sources that we think is valuable.

This is just a handful of the topics covered, visit the site and have a browse to see the full range of topics available. You can also contact us at learningdevelopment@northampton.ac.uk or visit one of our drop-in sessions, or book a tutorial with us.
