Students and staff can reserve a library resource they want to borrow that is out on loan. We do not send you an email when an item you have borrowed has a reservation placed as this can happen many times and could lead to a large number of emails. Some resources are very popular, which means that multiple reserve requests are often made and completed within a short time, especially if others are returning other copies of the same resource.
You can view your loaned resources and their due dates by logging into NELSON and viewing your library account. When you borrow a resource from the library always consider the due date as the date the resource will need to be returned, as renewals are not guaranteed.
Resources with a reservation request cannot be renewed. When renewing your resources, ensure that the renewal attempt was successful by checking the new due date, and checking for any error messages. Also, double check the new due dates for each individual resource.
