There are three teams in Library and Learning Services who are able to help you with your academic work; Academic Librarians, Learning Development and the Language Development Centre teams. See which team would suit you better and you can book a tutorial with them.
Learning Development also offer drop-in session to answer any quick questions that you have.
Both Academic Librarians and Learning Development tutors can help with Referencing.
Academic Librarians can help with:

Learning Development can help with:

- Dissertation advice

Maths and Stats (part of Learning Development) tutors can help with:
- Numeracy
- Algebra
- Calculus
- Geometry
- Statistics
- SPSS
- Data Analysis.
The Language Development Centre can help you if English is your second or additional language. They can help with:
- Understanding assignment
- Essay writing
- Report writing
- Reflective writing
- Referencing and avoiding plagiarism
- Literature reviews
- Academic grammar

- Presentations.
