If you think you may need an extension for your work please discuss this with your marking tutor. Extensions may be given for up to three weeks after the first submission and resit submission for extenuating circumstances. If agreed by your tutor, ensure you have written confirmation of your new deadline.
You can request an extension to your deadline and we have a guide on how to request this. In some cases, you may wish to apply for mitigating circumstances. Mitigating circumstances are defined as a serious or acute problem or an event beyond your control that has prevented completion of an assessment or attendance at examinations.
