Students are given a Personal Academic Tutor, also known as a PT or PAT, who will get in contact with you during your time at the University, they will check how you are getting on and offer advice and guidance. Your tutor will contact you during your first few weeks after you have started your course. Once your Personal Academic Tutor has made contact with you, make a note of their contact information so you can easily reach them. You can find out who your personal tutor is by logging into the MyEngagement portal or by clicking on the MyEngagement tab in the MyNorthampton app.
Before you are allocated a Personal Academic Tutor your Programme Leader will be your personal contact, so reach out to them if you have a question about your module or want to discuss something.
The Learning Development team are also happy to help you academic skills and the structure of your work, and the Academic Librarians are happy to help you find resources for your assignments.
