We have several library membership options available, brief details are included below, our Library Visitor Page contains full information on our memberships. We also have information about what is and isn't included in membership types.

If you have any questions you can email our Membership team at library.membership@northampton.ac.uk who will be happy to help.

The rules and regulations for all library users are available online.

For current students and staff at the University of Northampton

If you are currently a student or member of staff at the University of Northampton you will already have a library account, this is created automatically when you start at the University. Your University ID card is your library card, you can borrow books and other library resources using the card. We have helpful guides to get you started and guides on borrowing books and how to return them.

Our staff will be happy to help you get started, guide you through finding and borrowing books and resources, and answer any questions you have. You can email libraryhelp@northampton.ac.uk or during our staffed hours you can visit the library Help Desk on the second floor of the Learning Hub.

If you want to visit and work in another university library, then you can apply through SCONUL to access libraries of other university's around the UK.
